HVAC Company Goes from 8 to 47 Service Calls Per Week in One Summer
The Challenge
A family-owned HVAC company in Sugar Land was completely invisible online. They had no website, no Google Business Profile, and relied entirely on word-of-mouth. When Houston’s summer hit 105ยฐF, they were losing emergency AC repair calls to competitors who showed up on Google.
Our Strategy
Strategy 1: Built a 12-page website from scratch โ homepage, 6 service pages (AC repair, furnace repair, installation, maintenance, duct cleaning, commercial HVAC), about page, service area pages for Sugar Land, Missouri City, and Richmond.
Strategy 2: Emergency-focused SEO โ targeted high-intent keywords like “emergency AC repair Sugar Land”, “AC not cooling Houston”, “HVAC repair near me”. Created dedicated emergency landing pages with click-to-call CTAs.
Strategy 3: Seasonal content campaign โ published pre-summer preparation guides, “signs your AC is about to break” articles, and “Houston heat wave survival” posts timed for peak search periods.
Strategy 4: Social media presence โ Facebook and Instagram with before/after repair photos, energy-saving tips, and same-day service promotions. Built a community of 2,400 local followers in 4 months.
Strategy 5: Google Business Profile optimization with weekly posts, seasonal service offers, and photo uploads after every service call.
Timeline & Results
Month 1: Website and GBP live. Month 2: First organic traffic (200 visits). Month 3: 15 calls/week from organic. Month 4 (summer peak): 47 calls/week, $38K revenue week.
“Before High Web Rocket, I was the best-kept secret in Sugar Land. Now I’m the first call when someone’s AC breaks. We had to bring on two more technicians just to keep up with summer demand.”
